Permits and who hires the inspector
On a Mesa permit, the owner or the owner's agent, not the contractor, hires the special inspection agency (IBC 1704.2). Mesa's Development Services posts a Special Inspection Certificate with its construction forms. Check your approved plans and the City of Mesa for the requirements on your job.
